It reduces the consumption of water for daily activities like bathing, washing, gardening, etc. All the waste water is first collected and screened. Then it is left for natural sedimentation process and after that, oil is removed from water. Then, continuous bubbling of air in the water cause flocculation and mixed with some proportion of alum. Hence clumps settle down at the bottom. Finally, after passing the water through bio-filters,\u00a0 some chlorine is added to make the water portable again. This reduces the amount of water used daily by a regular household, reducing water demand. Hence it helps in saving money.
